How much does a dental implant cost in Korea?

At Gangnam One Day Dental Clinic, the 2026 guide price for a dental implant is ₩1,000,000 to ₩2,000,000+ per tooth, confirmed after exam. Bone grafting, if needed, is a guide ₩300,000–₩1,000,000 and a sinus lift ₩800,000–₩2,500,000. Your final cost depends on implant system, crown material and bone condition.

What an implant price usually includes

All figures on this page are guide prices, confirmed after exam. An implant quote at our clinic typically covers the complete tooth, not just the screw. Ask any clinic you compare to list the same items so you compare complete treatment plans, not headline prices.

  • Implant fixture (OSSTEM or MegaGen)
  • Abutment connecting implant and crown
  • Custom crown made in our in-house Oneday Lab
  • Implant placement surgery
  • Digital imaging and examination (3D CT, intraoral scan)
  • Follow-up and maintenance visits

Why your total may differ

Bone is the biggest variable. If your jaw needs a bone graft or sinus lift, that is added to the implant price. Crown material, the number of implants and whether you want IV sleep sedation also change the total.

For multiple missing teeth, an implant-supported bridge or full-arch design can need fewer implants than teeth replaced, which lowers the total. See All-on-4 implants and dental bridges for alternatives.

Planning cost around travel

About 60% of our implant patients come from outside Seoul. Travel and accommodation are part of your real cost, so we aim to keep trips to two where possible. Our in-house lab can make temporary to final prosthetics in one day, which shortens stays.

Send your panoramic X-ray or CT on WhatsApp (+82-10-5298-2875). We reply in English, Chinese, Japanese or Korean with an estimate range before you book flights.

Things to know before you decide

  • A quote without an X-ray or CT is only an estimate; bone grafting needs can change the total.
  • Very low headline prices may exclude the abutment, crown or follow-up; check what is included.
  • Korean national health insurance implant coverage generally applies only to eligible insured residents.
  • Failing to treat gum disease first can risk the implant and increase long-term cost.

FAQ

Implant Cost: common questions

Why are implants cheaper in Korea than in the US or UK?
Korea has high implant volume, domestic implant manufacturers such as OSSTEM and MegaGen, and many clinics with in-house labs, which lower costs. Price still varies by case. Compare complete treatment plans, including crown, abutment and follow-up, rather than headline prices.
Is the implant price per tooth or per implant?
Our guide price of ₩1,000,000–₩2,000,000+ refers to one implant with its crown. For several adjacent teeth, two implants can sometimes support a three-tooth bridge, so the number of implants may be lower than the number of teeth replaced.
Does the price include the crown?
Our implant quote typically includes the fixture, abutment, custom crown, surgery, imaging and follow-up. Bone grafting, sinus lift and IV sleep sedation are added only if needed. Your written plan lists every item before treatment.
Can I get an exact price before travelling?
We can give an estimate range from a recent panoramic X-ray or CT sent on WhatsApp. The final price is confirmed after examination and 3D CT in Seoul, because bone volume and gum health can only be measured accurately in person.
Does Korean insurance cover implants for foreigners?
Korea's national health insurance partly covers implants for eligible insured people aged 65 and over, with limits. Most visiting patients are not covered. Ask your home insurer whether it reimburses treatment abroad and which documents it needs, then ask us on WhatsApp whether we can provide them.
How much do full-mouth implants cost?
Full-mouth cost depends on the number of implants per jaw, bone grafting and whether the final teeth are fixed or removable. We quote after reviewing your CT. Our full-mouth reconstruction page explains the options.
