What is Smile X?

Smile X is a personalised cosmetic smile enhancement approach at Gangnam One Day Dental Clinic. The dentist evaluates tooth colour, shape, size, proportions, alignment and gum contours together, then plans only the treatments needed, which may include veneers, whitening, gum contouring, crowns and digital smile design analysis. Not every patient needs multiple treatments; costs are explained after examination.

What a Smile X plan looks at

Smile X evaluates the smile as a whole rather than one isolated concern. The dentist reviews tooth colour, shape, size, proportions, alignment and the gum contour that frames the teeth.

Each finding is matched to a treatment only if it is needed. Some patients need a single step, such as whitening; others combine several.

  • Colour: whitening or veneers
  • Shape and size: veneers or crowns
  • Gum line: gum contouring
  • Proportions: digital smile design analysis

Building the plan, step by step

Planning starts with photos and an intraoral scan. Gangnam One Day Dental Clinic has used Digital Smile Design since 2015 to preview proportions before treatment.

Thin ceramics need an even bite, so occlusion can be checked with T-Scan Novus digital analysis, which records bite force distribution in fine detail. Restorations are milled in the in-house Oneday Lab, which can shorten the time between design and fitting.

Things to know before you decide

  • Decay, gum disease or significant damage are treated before cosmetic steps.

  • More components usually mean more visits and a longer stay.
  • Heavy grinding may require a night guard to protect ceramic restorations.

FAQ

Smile X: common questions

Does Smile X always include veneers?
No. Smile X is a personalised approach, and not every patient needs multiple treatments. Depending on your examination, the plan may involve veneers, whitening, gum contouring, crowns, or only one of these. The plan is agreed with you after the digital examination and smile analysis.
How much does Smile X cost?
Cost varies with the treatments included, the number of teeth, the materials selected and the complexity of the design. Gangnam One Day Dental Clinic gives an estimate after reviewing photos and X-rays on WhatsApp, and explains the final cost after examination.
How long does Smile X take?
It depends on the plan. A single treatment such as whitening may take one visit, while a combination of veneers and gum contouring usually takes several. With an in-house lab, some restorations can be made the same day in suitable cases.
How is Smile X different from Smile Privé?
Both are named, personalised smile enhancement approaches offered by the clinic and can draw on similar treatments. The dentist explains which option fits your goals after examining your teeth, and can show a digital design so you can compare approaches.
Can I do Smile X as an international patient?
Yes. Inquiries are handled on WhatsApp in English, Chinese, Japanese or Korean. Sending photos before you travel helps the team estimate how many visits and days in Seoul your plan is likely to need, before you book flights.
